Here are some notes about the music played at the celebration of my father's life that we held on 12th May, in Kensal Green, London. Except for the third item, all of the following was suggested by Victor himself in some notes he had made for such matters. I hope this music may give you some joy.
(1) The Kenny Clarke - Francy Boland Big Band – You Stepped Out Of A Dream
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uuQthNdsV8Live at Ronnie Scott's February 1969
Victor is “present” on this recording as he took a leading role in the applause and yells of appreciation from the audience.
Here are some notes I made on the 6th of May when I was trying to identify which bits were Victor's:
1:23 A cry of delight/appreciation - doesn't sound very Victor-ish to me but it could well be him, given the back-story 1:40 Several people(?) cheering - one of them must be Victor 1:48 Applause - some of the clapping must be Victor's 3:03 Applause 3:07 A Victor-ish cough
(2) The New Departures Quartet – McTaggart
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-wkMc5ETYUrecorded 22nd June 1964.
Bobby Wellins tenor sax, Stan Tracey piano, Jeff Clyne bass, Laurie Morgan drums.
This is from an album that Victor produced.
At the celebration of Victor's life on 12th May, we played the second half of this track, starting with the tenor solo which begins at 4:04.
A discography is here along with a photo of Victor:

(3) Ramblers & Annie de Reuver – I Only Have Eyes For You (Take 2; 1935)
This was selected by Victor's friend Adrian Rifkin to close his tribute; it is on an album cherished by Adrian, that Victor gave him.https://youtu.be/hPmDqU9qMdY
(4) Spike Jones – Holiday For Strings (1945)
There is a video of this that is really worth watching if you fancy something silly and fun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkq2ZMjC170.However on 12th May, for copyright reasons, we played a different recording (which in my opinion is just as good if not better, in terms of the music): https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=oi0yxPv9exM.
